The UNC basketball team is back at home to host the Boston College Eagles on Tuesday night. Here are our annual staff picks.

The UNC basketball program bounced back from the loss at Virginia with a comfortable win over struggling Louisville on Saturday.  The Heels now return to the Dean Smith Center for a big week of home games against Boston College and NC State.  Will the Heels take care of business against the Eagles on Tuesday night?  Find out what our staff thinks below!

Nick Delahanty

Heading into the Louisville game, I was concerned given the injury status of Armando Bacot.

Assuming he’ll play again (by the way…no one should ever question his toughness), I expect the UNC basketball program to take care of business in this one.

Boston College has been a very streaky team this season, as they are currently riding a three-game losing streak. After barely losing to Duke, they’ve suffered two double-digit losses to Miami and Wake Forest.

Of course, those are quality opponents, but so are the Tar Heels, who should take care of business just as the prior two teams have been able to do.

Prediction: North Carolina 86, Boston College 68

Mark DeMott

With Armando Bacot back in the lineup, the Tar Heels should be able to handle Boston College if they play with the right mindset.

UNC needs to be locked in defensively, control the glass, and move the ball offensively against a BC team that doesn’t have as much talent as Carolina.

One player I’ll be keeping a close eye on is Puff Johnson, as he is starting to look more comfortable with his shot.  If he becomes the shooter that many fans believe he is, it will be tough to keep him off of the court.

If the Heels are locked in, they should be able to win this one relatively comfortably.

Prediction: North Carolina 81, Boston College 67

Aaron Conrad

UNC is back in the Smith Center and should have the opportunity in this one to continue to get looks at their full roster due to the injuries and shuffling of the lineup.

On paper, this should be a competitive game but UNC should win going away.

Prediction: North Carolina 92, Boston College 75

Spencer Schultz

Thankfully, UNC is facing a few lower-tier ACC teams as Armando Bacot and Pete Nance try to get healthy. Bacot still dominated against Louisville, just days after rolling his ankle.

The result for this one should be no different, as Boston College sits 11th in the ACC standings. Look for the Heels to improve to 9-0 at home this season.

Prediction: North Carolina 81, Boston College 63
