The UNC Football program will face off against the No. 15 Oregon Ducks in the SDCCU Holiday Bowl

After a 9-4 season and a trip to the ACC Championship game, the UNC Football program will travel to the west coast to take on Oregon in the SDCCU Holiday Bowl.

The game will be played in San Diego at Petco Park, the home of the San Diego Padres.

Like North Carolina, Oregon finished its 2022 season on a bad note.

After a blowout loss to No. #1 Georgia in Week 1, the Ducks managed to win eight straight in route to becoming the #6 team in the country.

Quarterback Bo Nix had begun to receive Heisman praise and Oregon was the favorite to win the Pac-12.

However, the Ducks dropped two of their final three games and lost their bid in the Pac-12 championship game.

Despite their finish, Oregon will be a tough matchup for North Carolina.

The Tar Heels may have a hard time stopping the Ducks’ offense, and their struggles offensively may continue.

While it has been a rough ending to a very promising 2022 season, North Carolina has an opportunity to finish with a big win over one of the nation’s top teams.

The game will take place on December 28 and kick-off will be 8 P.M. EST.
