In a shocking turn of events, the former two-time All-ACC Center for the UNC football program will become the Interim Head Coach for the Indianapolis Colts.
This morning, former UNC football center Jeff Saturday was named the interim Head Coach for the Indianapolis Colts. Saturday was a four-year starter for the Tar Heels and a team captain in his Junior and Senior years.

Saturday had an incredible 14-year career in the NFL, spending 13 seasons in Indianapolis. He finished his career as a 6x Pro Bowler, a 2x All-Pro, and a Super Bowl Champion. Saturday was inducted into the Colts Ring of Honor in 2015.
At North Carolina, Jeff Saturday was excellent for the Mack Brown-led Tar Heels. Saturday started all four seasons and while doing so, accumulated many prestigious honors. He was a 2x First-Team All-ACC (1996, 1997), a Team Captain (1996, 1997), and an Academic All-ACC Selection (1997).
Saturday will take over a struggling 3-5-1 Colts team. Indianapolis, who was once seen as a potential contender to win the AFC, has now lost three straight outings.
The UNC football legend will make his coaching debut next Sunday when the Colts travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders.
