UNC Football: Mack Brown Up For Multiple Coaching Awards

UNC Football Head Coach Mack Brown is on the watch list for both the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year and Dodd Trophy this season.
Mack Brown has the attention of multiple watchlists for honors in coaching this season. As the UNC football program currently sits at 6-1 on the season and is currently ranked 22nd in the AP College Football Poll, Brown is a candidate for both the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year and Dodd Trophy.

The Tar Heels began the season 3-0 with wins over Florida A&M, Appalachian State, and Georgia State. The wins over Georgia State and Appalachian State were both road wins. They lost to Notre Dame at home but have come back to win three straight over Virginia Tech, Miami, and Duke. They are 3-0 in the ACC Coastal and currently in first place.
