Wade is the most recent 2024 UNC football target to receive an offer, as the Tar Heels focus on its future recruiting classes.

The UNC football program has continued its pursuit of 2024 recruits, offering three-star offensive tackle Mason Wade.

Wade becomes the newest target in the junior class, as he is the fourth offensive tackle to receive an offer from North Carolina.

According to 247 Sports, Wade is a top-500 recruit and the No. 37 ranked offensive tackle in the class of 2024. The Purcellville, Virginia native is the No. 15 ranked recruit in the state and attends Loudoun Valley High School.

Wade has garnered attention and interest from Power 5 programs, most recently receiving offer from the Tar Heels, Maryland, and Virginia Tech.

The offensive tackle has one Crystal Ball prediction, with the Virginia Tech Hokies being the recipient. That prediction came towards the end of June, as things could certainly change as we get closer to his eventual commitment date.

The offensive line has become a point of emphasis for North Carolina and Wade stands to make an impact at the collegiate level should he choose the Tar Heels.

North Carolina currently has one offensive line commitment in the class of 2023 (Nolan McConnell) so expect the UNC football recruiting staff to focus on growing their numbers in the trenches.

We all know how important the offensive line is, as the Tar Heels hope that Wade will be a player that can help solidify the team’s offensive line depth in the future.
