UNC Football: Josh Downs and Tony Grimes to participate in special event

Alumni Hall is holding a free “Meet the Players” event with UNC Football’s Josh Downs and Tony Grimes on Wednesday, August 24 from 5-7 pm ET

It’s game week for the UNC Football program, but you don’t have to wait until Saturday night to see a couple of Tar Heel starters up close and personal.

Star wide receiver Josh Downs and starting cornerback Tony Grimes are taking part in Alumni Hall’s “Meet the Players” event this Wednesday, August 24.

This event is an opportunity for fans to meet and greet with Grimes and Downs ahead of their season-opening kick-off at Kenan Stadium.

The best news?

Alumni Hall, located at 133 W. Franklin Street in Carolina Square, is giving away the exclusive football schedule poster for free. Downs and Grimes will sign autographs and take photos with attendees and store patrons, so make sure to stop in from 5-7 pm ET for this free event (seriously, no purchase is necessary).

In this era of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), players can partner with businesses such as Alumni Hall to connect with fans all while being able to legally receive financial remuneration for their efforts.
