As a redshirt junior, Serretti concluded his time in Chapel Hill with career-highs in every major statistical category. The Berkeley Heights, NJ native started all 64 games for Coach Scott Forbes, hitting a team-high .365 while tallying 10 home runs and 54 RBI.

Serretti led the Tar Heels in on-base percentage (.437) and finished second in the ACC in hits with 96. The switch-hitter frequented the base paths, amassing a 26-game hitting streak and a 33-game on-base streak.

Serretti’s efforts helped guide the UNC Baseball program to their second ACC Tournament Championship over the last four seasons.

Following a decorated high school career, Serretti burst onto the scene in Chapel Hill, earning freshman All-American honors during the 2019 campaign. His .299 average and 18 doubles were a team-high, while his 69 base hits ranked second.

Serretti spent four seasons donning Carolina blue, starting 198 of 199 career games. The future Tiger is one of just ten Tar Heels in program history to record 50 doubles.

The former Tar Heels shortstop finishes his collegiate career with a .303 average, 22 HR, 145 RBI, and 237 hits.

As Danny Serretti pursues a professional career, we look forward to seeing his success in the Bosh translate to the Big Leagues!
