Former UNC basketball standout Reggie Bullock had a sensational shooting night for the Dallas Mavericks in a Game 4 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

After an atrocious shooting game against the Warriors in Game 3 on Sunday, Dallas Mavericks wing Reggie Bullock went off for 18 points and a half-dozen three-pointers on Tuesday night.

Bullock’s hot shooting night — combined with the 30-point, 14-rebound, nine-assist performance Dallas got from All-NBA guard Luka Doncic — helped the Mavericks win Game 4 by a final score of 119-109 and avoid being swept out of the Western Conference Finals.

After missing each of his 10 shots from the floor two nights ago, including seven from beyond the arc and his only free throw attempt of the game, Bullock knocked down 6-of-10 on Tuesday night — all three-pointers. He added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Even after his goose egg in Game 3, Bullock is averaging 12.8 points, three rebounds, and 2.5 assists in the Conference Finals, and shooting nearly 41 percent from long-range. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that Bullock is No. 1 in minutes played among everyone in the 2022 Conference Finals.

The former Tar Heel will look to stay hot when the Mavericks return to San Francisco for Thursday night’s Game 5. Doncic and company will likely need him to if they hope to stave off elimination for at least one more game.
