Official images of UNC inspired Air Jordan 6 have released
By Zack Pearson
Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program have a tough path to March and the NCAA Tournament with just five games left in the regular season. Following a bad loss to Pitt on Wednesday, UNC finds themselves on the bubble.
The Tar Heels do have a chance for a Quad 1 win coming up and getting to March is key because as we know from previous years, anything can happen.
But as UNC makes their push, fans can take a look at a new Tar Heels-inspired pair of Air Jordan 6 shoes that are set to release just in time for March Madness. The “UNC” Air Jordan 6 has a release date of March 5th and now we officially have images of the upcoming shoe.
The shoe is dressed in a Carolina Blue upper featuring black and white accents throughout the shoe including the trim, sole, toebox and heel. The Nike/Jumpman branding is also spotted on the heel to round off the sleek design on the classic Jordan model.

The shoe is the latest UNC-inspired colorway to be released for a retro Jordan joining the 3, 4 and 1 models over the past year or so. This isn’t a player exclusive either, so fans will have their chance to get their hands on a pair soon.
This model will release on the Nike SNKRS app as well as other retail stores nationwide on March 5th and will have a price tag of $210.
