With the UNC basketball program completing a week stretch in which they went 3-0 on home games in the Dean Dome. As we get set to hit the final month or so of the season, Hubert Davis and his staff are also keeping a focus on recruiting too.

On Sunday, Davis and his staff spent the day off on the recruiting trail and they paid a visit to see a 2024 recruit in South Carolina.

Davis and assistant coach Jeff Lebo were in Lexington, South Carolina to visit 2024 shooting guard Cam Scott. The recruit tweeted out a thank you to the two coaches for visiting him on Sunday at his high school:

The 6-foot-5, 165-pound Scott is a prospect that has been on UNC’s radar for a while now and even took a visit earlier in the month of January. There’s significant interest from the Tar Heels’ side for the recruit and it appears as if the interest is mutual.

Even with the interest and visit, North Carolina has yet to offer Scott but there should be one coming down the line.

Davis appears to be taking his time with offers in the 2024 recruiting class as UNC has just one active offer out and that’s to in-state forward Jarin Stevenson. As time goes on, the offers will roll out and we’d be shocked not to see Scott get one sooner than later from the Tar Heels.
