By now it’s no secret that Hubert Davis and the UNC Basketball program have made a five-star small forward in the 2023 class their top priority. And it appears as if they are zoning in on him even more.

South Carolina native G.G. Jackson is one of the top players in the 2023 class and North Carolina is hoping to add him to their class which currently has just Simeon Wilcher signed.

Jackson has taken a few visits to UNC including an official during Late Night With Hubert, the same night Wilcher committed. But since that night, Jackson has taken another visit and other programs including Duke, South Carolina, and Virginia appear to be moving in on him.

Despite that, the UNC side may have received some good news, well at least their fans. On 247Sports, a new crystal ball prediction was logged in favor of the Tar Heels for Jackson. This is the third prediction that favors the Tar Heels and it comes from national recruiting analyst Dushawn London on Wednesday.

London is just the latest to give UNC a prediction for Jackson as he joined Eric Bossi and Duke beat writer Adam Rowe.

Now, crystal ball predictions don’t guarantee the player commits to that program but it is pretty accurate especially with national analysts chiming in like Bossi and London. It’s also good news for UNC a week after Duke went to watch Jackson and the recruit talked about his visit to the Tar Heels and others he has planned.

It’s not likely Jackson commits right away but this is just another good sign for the Tar Heels moving forward in this recruitment.
