National Signing Day 2021: Live UNC Football tracker for 2022 class

The early signing period is here and the UNC football program is set to make their best class under Mack Brown official.

Beginning on Wednesday, prospects can officially sign their letter of intent to programs and the Tar Heels are expected to have a busy day. While they aren’t in the running for any new commitments barring some shocking news, they will sign their 17-man class that is ranked No. 1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and No. 8 overall.

It’s a HUGE class for Brown and his staff and one that can really help change the program for the future.

Wednesday, December 15th

3:17 p.m. — Beau Atkinson becomes the final player to sign.

3:09 p.m. — The second-to-last commit has signed in Deuce Caldwell.

2 p.m. — Another five-star has signed. Zach Rice officially joins the class.

1:38 p.m — Tayon Holloway has joined the class with his LOI.

1 p.m. — Treyvon Green has signed.

12:30 p.m. — RB George Pettaway has signed.

Noon — WR Andre Greene makes it official. He signs with the Tar Heels.

11:31 a.m.  — Linebacker Sebastian Cheeks is officially a Tar Heel.

11:00 a.m. — Five-star DT Travis Shaw has signed his letter. He’s UNC’s highest-ranked prospect in the class.

10:42 a.m — QB Conner Harrell is signed.

10:11 a.m. — Speedy WR Tychaun Chapman is signed.

9:50 a.m. — Bryson Jennings signs his LOI.

9:32 a.m. — A player with the chance to come in and make an impact right way, running back Omarion Hampton, is the fifth player to sign this AM so far.

9:10 a.m. — Intriguing OLB Malaki Hamrick has officially signed with UNC. 

8:50 a.m. — 3-star OT Justin Kanyuk is up next.

8:30 a.m. — DB Marcus Allen is the next commit to be announced.

8:00 a.m. – New commit Will Hardy is the first signing announced. UNC flipped him from Virginia on Monday. 

Tuesday, December 14th

10:00 p.m. — Signings should start coming in VERY early in the morning.
