UNC Basketball: Grades for Tar Heels’ game against Michigan
Kerwin Walton
Kerwin Walton’s struggles continued on Wednesday night, as he once again had little to no impact on the game’s final score. He didn’t score a single point for the second time in his past three games, missing all four of his shot attempts against the Wolverines and both of his three-point tries. He’s now scored just 10 points over his past 87 minutes of game time. He’s not doing a whole lot else either, evidenced by his two-rebound, one-assist box score in 17 minutes against Michigan.
F
Justin McKoy, Anthony Harris, D’Marco Dunn and Dontrez Styles
McKoy, Harris, Dunn and Styles played just 13 minutes between the four of them, combining for two points and one rebound. Similar to previous games, McKoy got the most playing time with his seven minutes. And although his contributions were basically nonexistent, I’m still not ready to give him a grade based on this kind of inconsequential performance. The same goes for the other three, and will probably remain the case until their minutes increase substantially.

The Tar Heels will take the court again on Sunday when they face off with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in their first Atlantic Coast Conference game of the season. Check back with Keeping It Heel for complete coverage of that game, and everything on the UNC basketball program.
