We are just a few weeks away from national signing day and the UNC Football program is set to turn in another impressive class early on. Mack Brown and his staff currently have a Top 10 class they are set to sign on December 15th, boding well for the future of the program.

But Brown and his team might not be done yet.

For weeks now the rumors have been swirling of UNC attempting to flip a few different commits to add to the class that already features two four-star recruits. And one of those prospects is a four-star lineman from Virginia Tech.

Gunner Givens has been committed to Virginia Tech since September, picking the Hokies over 32 other offers in his recruitment.  But could things change?

Virginia Tech opted to fire Justin Fuente and go in a different direction at head coach. They recently hired Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry as the new head man charge which could shake some things up in the recruiting world. And among those players is Givens.

Already, UNC recruits have been pushing on Twitter to try and get Givens to flip from Virginia Tech to UNC as five-star offensive tackle Zach Rice is the latest to do so:

UNC has landed a few big recruits from the state of Virginia, including Rice, receiver Andre Greene and running back George Pettaway. Landing another prospect from a flip would be huge for Brown and his staff.

There’s no signs Givens would flip just yet but he is someone to keep an eye on moving forward as we get close to signing day.
