The UNC Football program enters the final month of the college football season needing two wins in four games to become bowl eligible. After being ranked No. 10 in the preseason polls, UNC sits at 4-4 and has some bad losses to Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Florida State.

But going into Week 10, the Tar Heels have the chance to score a big win over No. 9 Wake Forest at home.

UNC is set to host the Demon Deacons in a big game on Saturday and they will do so in style. The Tar Heels are playing the game in a unique uniform combination. UNC announced they will be wearing blue helmets, navy shirt and blue pants.

But that’s not all. They are also wearing retro Air Jordan V player exclusives. Check them out below:

With the new uniform combo, North Carolina earned some praise from ESPN as one of the best uniforms this week.  Here is what UNC had to say about the uniforms:

"The North Carolina Tar Heels’ look is a first-time combination, and they have some sweet footwear as well. The team has fresh Player Edition Air Jordan Retro V cleats to complete the outstanding outfit."

Along with UNC, Kent State and Hawai’i also earned praise for their uniforms in Week 10.

This could be a uniform combo that UNC goes to again in the future, especially if they can pull off the upset win over Wake on Saturday in Chapel Hill.
