Jaden Bradley

Jaden Bradley has been a target of the UNC basketball program for quite some time. In fact, it was all the way back in March of 2020 that former North Carolina head coach Roy Williams extended a scholarship offer to the standout point guard from Bradenton, Florida. Since then, Bradley’s list of schools has nearly doubled.

Now, Bradley, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound senior at IMG Academy, has offers from many of the top college basketball programs in the country. That includes Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan and Tennessee — each of which is hoping to add one of the top lead guards in the 2022 class to their roster next fall.

Bradley made official visits to Michigan (June 4), Alabama (June 11), North Carolina (June 15) and Arizona (June 18) last month as he looks to whittle down his list prior to making a final decision. All four schools are considered “warm” according to Bradley’s 247Sports recruiting profile, as are Florida State and Kentucky. It wouldn’t be shocking to see those six programs end up on his list of finalists.

A quick, athletic, versatile guard that excels with the rock in his hands, Bradley is a great ball-handler, passer, slasher and shooter. He’s got great court awareness and vision, and he’s among the best point guards in his class at distributing the basketball to teammates and facilitating his team’s offense. He’s good at maneuvering his way through traffic, and getting inside for easy buckets. He’s also a good rebounder for his size, and could end up being one of the really elite back court playmakers in the 2022 class.

Crystal Ball predictions are currently split between Kentucky (1) and North Carolina (1), while Bradley’s current FutureCast projections favor the Wildcats by a count of two to one over the Crimson Tide.
