As the days go on, it’s becoming more and more clear who the top targets left are for the UNC Basketball program in the 2022 recruiting class.

Hubert Davis and his staff have done a great job so far with their 2022 class, landing three commitments and currently holding the top class in late July. But ideally, UNC would love to add at least one more recruit and potentially two before the class is wrapped up.

Among those targets left is four-star forward Isaac Traudt, a Nebraska native that has a total of 31 offers in his recruitment. The Tar Heels are one of the 31 offers and did get a visit from the forward in late June.

But as the days go on, it appears is if UNC continues to push for Traudt and might be making a full-court press for the recruit.

Traudt was in action for Nebraska Supreme on the AAU Circuit, making a stop in Indianapolis this weekend for the Under Armour Association’s Finals tournament. Nebraska Surpeme got things started on Thursday and per NebPreps.com, the Tar Heels were in attendance as were many other teams to watch Traudt and other prospects:

"The court was packed with big-name college basketball coaches. Coaches from TCU, San Diego State, UCLA, Abilene Christian, Drake, Texas A&M, Indiana State, Toledo, Notre Dame, Lipscomb, Cal Poly, Minnesota, San Jose State, Virginia, Creighton, Boston College, Nebraska, Nebraska-Omaha, Northern Illinois, Georgia, Navy, Virginia Tech, DePaul, Illinois, Illinois State, California, Stanford, North Carolina, Purdue, Colorado, Colorado State, Villanova, Butler and Texas, among others."

Traudt was the top target for UNC to watch on the court for that game and with interest picking up, he will be a player to watch in the coming weeks for the Tar Heels.

Outside of Cam Whitmore, Traudt just might be UNC’s biggest target left on their board. The Tar Heels are in need of a legit wing that can score and Traudt would fit that role very well.

The 6-foot-9 forward finished with 13, 13 and 19 on the final day on Saturday as Nebraska Supreme went 4-1 in the consolation bracket.

Next. Are the Tar Heels the team to beat for this four-star recruit?. dark
