The class of 2022 recruiting board is starting to shape up for Hubert Davis and the UNC Basketball program.

With three prospects committed, headlined by five-star center Jalen Washington, the Tar Heels have the No. 1 class in the cycle here in mid-July. But is UNC done adding to that class?

Davis and his staff have more targets on their board including four-and-five star prospects that would be a good fit for the Tar Heels. One of those targets is four-star forward Cam Whitmore, a Maryland native that has a total of 19 offers, including one from UNC.

Whitmore recently cut his list down to 10 schools but the prospect appears to only be focusing on six of those programs. Shortly after getting down to that list of 10, Whitmore caught up with City of Basketball Love at the recent event in Atlantic City where he was able to play in front of coaches, scouts and analysts.

In the interview, Whitmore offered some insight on where things stand in his recruitment including the six teams he’s focusing on:

"“I’m focusing on Louisville, UNC, Maryland, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Illinois,” Whitmore said. “That’s the main six.”Whitmore also mentioned that Florida is in the mix."

That’s certainly good news that UNC is one of the six that he’s mainly focusing on after landing in his top 10.  It’s also good news that he’s ready to move forward with the six teams of his 10 on the list.

There appears to be some time left in his recruitment for teams to make an impression and seal the deal for a commitment. With pretty much one or two spots left for UNC in this class, will they put the full court press on the talented forward and hope to land him?
