Over the years the Carolina Blue colorway has started to become almost a staple on Air Jordan shoes as they pay homage to the UNC Basketball program. We’ve seen the classic colorway appear on the Air Jordan I, Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 6, and now a future colorway of the Air Jordan 6.

But the latest shoe to get the “University Blue” treatment is a classic pair of Nike Dunks.

Per multiple sneaker sites, the Nike Dunk High is set to release later on in July or August in a awesome “University Blue” colorway, continuing the trend of Carolina-inspired colorways. Take a look at some pictures of the shoe below:

The sneaker will be a follow up to the Nike Dunk Low version in University Blue that is set to release later in June. Both releases are expected to be huge and the chances of getting pairs might be tough for fans.

The shoe is dressed with a University Blue upper that dominates the colorway and is accented by white which rounds off this clean design. The tongue has a Nike tab on it in both blue and white, plus the shoe has a blue swoosh and it features white laces.

The Nike Dunk High is an iconic model that has been dressed in awesome colorways over the years and with the trendy UNC styles coming out, it’s no surprise that this would be a perfect matchup for sneakerheads.

This sneaker does not have an official release date as of yet but with sites already starting to promote it, we should expect a July or August release. The price tag will be $110 which is a little cheaper than the Air Jordan models that have a UNC touch to them and have already released.

Next. UNC is a strong favorite for this 5-star recruit. dark
