Hubert Davis and the UNC Basketball program is preparing for a big month of official visits from recruiting targets in the 2022 class.

As it stands right now, the Tar Heels are set to welcome more than five recruits on campus for their visit after the NCAA lifted restrictions. Among them is five-star guard Jaden Bradley, a Florida product  that recently revealed the exact dates for each of his visits including one to Chapel Hill.

But before Bradley makes his official visit for the weekend of June 15th, the Tar Heels appear to be picking up some momentum in this recruitment.

Earlier in the week, UNC landed their first crystal ball prediction for Bradley as CatsPause writer Chris Fisher made his pick with a confidence of five. Prior to Fisher’s prediction, Kentucky had landed both predictions including from national analysts Jerry Meyer and Travis Branham.

The 6-foot-2, 178-pound Bradley has a total of 18 offers in his recruitment and early on it was thought to be a battle between blue blood programs UNC and Kentucky with the Wildcats holding the edge. However, things have changed over time.

In addition to UNC, Bradley is also scheduled to visit Michigan (June 4-6), Alabama (June 11-13), and Arizona (June 18-20). These teams appear to be his top teams along with UNC and we could be headed for a very interesting recruitment down the stretch here. But the latest revelations might just be good news for the Tar Heels in terms of their chances to land them with their biggest threat, Kentucky, maybe falling back a bit.

Bradley is ranked No. 9 overall, No. 2 point guard and the No. 4 player in the state of Florida per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. He’s getting set to enter his senior season at IMG Academy and his recruitment is certainly one to watch for the Tar Heels.
