Hubert Davis

This is going to be a conversation that will happen between UNC and Davis, who is currently on staff as an assistant. The Tar Heels aren’t NOT going to give Davis a look, and at least explore this opportunity.

Davis has experience on the bench, too, sitting next to Williams for nine years now. So he has a bit of a handle on how things are run at North Carolina, and would likely keep the same staff as Roy has had. Plus, at age 50, Davis could be considered a long-term solution if it works out.

Davis’ strengths on the recruiting trail also make him an intriguing candidate. He’s led the recruitments of several commits over the years, and is familiar with the recruiting trail and how it’s done.

I’d have to imagine that Davis is toward the top of the list for now.
