The UNC Basketball program never trailed in Saturday’s dominating win over the Duke Blue Devils as they completed a regular season sweep over their rival.

With the win, UNC not only did away with any potential doubt of not making the NCAA Tournament but helped their resume and earned the No. 6 seed in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. While it’s been a down year for the program, beating Duke not once but twice has provided a few bright spots for the Tar Heels.

And just like he did a month ago in Durham, head coach Roy Williams danced in the makeshift locker room in the Dean E. Smith Center on Saturday night to celebrate the big win as the regular season comes to an end. Check out Williams’ celebration below:

Williams has made it a tradition to dance after big victories, especially after beating their rival Duke. And to be honest, these never get old. This celebration came a week after Williams and his team came back from double-digits down to beat Florida State and earn his 900th win.

Saturday was a little different as the Tar Heels led the entire way and opened up a double-digit lead early on, not looking back. The hope is that the win can help this team build some momentum going into the ACC and then NCAA Tournament. While UNC isn’t considered a legit contender to win it all, it would be fun to see this team make a run in March and show positive signs for next season’s team.

UNC will begin their ACC Tournament run on Wednesday as they take on the winner of Notre Dame and Wake Forest at 9 p.m. ET.
