We have reached the end of the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season as the UNC Basketball program hosts Duke to wrap things up on Saturday.

North Carolina is not only attempting to sweep the season series from Duke after winning the first meeting, but improve their NCAA Tournament stock as well. The Tar Heels have beaten Louisville and Florida State on back-to-back Saturdays but have also suffered losses to Marquette and Syracuse in-between.

With just the ACC Tournament left, this is one of the last chances the Tar Heels have to add to their tournament resume.

Going into this game, let’s take a look at where the Tar Heels stand in the updated versions of Bracketology on the web:

    • CBS Sports Jerry Palm (3/5): No. 11 seed in Region 3 vs. No. 6 Florida (TRENDING DOWN)
    • Bracketville (3/3):  No. 9 seed in Region 3 vs. No. 8 LSU (TRENDING DOWN)
    • Bracket Matrix (3/5: No. 10 seed in Region 3 vs. No.7 Wisconsin (TRENDING DOWN)
    • USA Today (3/5): No. 9 UNC vs. No. 8 OREGON (TRENDING UP)
    • ESPN Bracketology (3/5): No. 10 seed in Region 4 vs. No. 7 MISSOURI (TRENDING DOWN)

The win over Florida State should have clinched UNC’s berth, barring an epic collapse here down the stretch but a win over Duke really could make it that much sweeter as the Blue Devils are also on the bubble fighting for their lives.

As you see above, seeding is kind of all over the place with the highest UNC is at is a No. 9 seed right now. A few wins to close out the next week or so could bump them as high as a No. 7 seed but that probably requires beating Duke and winning 2-3 ACC Tournament games.
