2022 Mock Class

It’s VERY early in the recruiting process and it doesn’t appear that many 2022 players are set to make their decisions anytime soon. With the possibility of being able to take visits looming, that would play a large factor in decisions.

With that being said, I’ll go with these three for right now although I feel like it will change down the line…

  • 5-star G Jaden Bradley
  • 4-star PF De’Ante Green
  • 4-star PF Isaac Traudt

It’s really hard making any other predictions as of now in terms of feel for recruits without them taking any visits. I do think UNC can land a five-star recruit and if I had to pick it would be Bradley right now. Mitchell is another option that makes more sense than Walker at this point.

But there’s also the chance UNC misses out on a five-star. I’d actually say that’s 60/40 in favor of them missing out as Bradley could head to Kentucky, Williams to Kansas and Walker to the SEC.

In terms of the three above, I think this would be a solid class for the Tar Heels which could get even better with a fourth commitment. I mentioned a player like Green could improve as the year goes on and raise his stock a little more, climbing the rankings. Traudt is another player that could up his stock as he sits outside of the Top 50. Virginia is also involved which appears to be the team to beat right now but a UNC offer could change everything.
