Recruits without an offer

There are a few players in this 2022 class that don’t have an offer from UNC but could see one down the line and are targets to join the recruiting class. These are prospects we should keep an eye on as UNC has at least expressed a little interest in the past.

  • 5-star F  Brandon Miller
  • 4-star C Brandon White
  • 4-star PF Isaac Traudt
  • 4-star SF Tyler Nickel
  • 4-star PF Julian Phillips
  • 4-star wing Justin Taylor
  • 5-star guard Cason Wallace

That’s a solid list of five recruits that could receive their offer from UNC soon. An offer from a Blue Blood program like UNC could change things for their recruitments as we have seen in the past.

Phillips, Taylor and Green have all recently revealed that UNC has shown interest and been in contact. Meanwhile, back in November White revealed that the Tar Heels were contacting him every week.

Back in November, Nickel revealed that UNC was a team to contact him but that has been quiet of late.

Wallace is also a prospect hoping to receive more interest from UNC. He recently revealed that he hopes to get an offer from the Tar Heels moving forward.

While these players are on UNC’s radar, it’s hard to gauge the interest, especially with a limited evaluation period. Again, this is not a normal recruiting cycle due to COVID-19, so the information is limited right now.

But keep an eye on these players above as UNC could strike and send out an offer at anytime.
