UNC Football team shows off new Air Jordan 5 PE’s

The UNC Football program is coming off an impressive season despite ending in an Orange Bowl loss to Texas A&M. Things are trending upwards for Mack Brown’s Tar Heels and it’s going to be a very fun offseason prepping for next year.

While Spring practice is still a few months away, we do have recruiting and coaching news to get us through the off time.

But on Sunday some other news broke regarding the football team, in a good one. The football Twitter account tweeted out news that they had received the newest Air Jordan 5 Player Editions for the Tar Heels and they are pretty damn sweet.

Check out these Air Jordan 5’s in a crisp Carolina Blue colorway that are made specifically for football players and staff members.

Now, those are pretty damn sweet. The Carolina Blue upper really makes the show, dominating throughout and is complimented by white and black accents on them. The Air Jordan V is a classic and now it can add this special colorway to its rich history.

While these shoes are pretty damn cool, they won’t be available to the public as they are for players, coaches and staff only. Very rarely do these shoes hit the market and some UNC players were suspended for selling their player editions a few years back.

Over the years we have seen some awesome UNC exclusives for not only the football team but the basketball team as well. It’s a nice little perk for players of the athletics programs, as they are able to get their hands on exclusive shoes for the university.
