The most likely lineup

This is the lineup that Williams rolled out against Florida State and will probably continue on here through the month of January unless they start playing bad. It’s clear Williams is favoring Love over Davis in terms of starting at the point guard position.

Now, both are struggling and Davis did have a big week last week but it’s hard seeing Williams not stick with Love in this stretch.

What I do like about this lineup is that it features another freshman that is playing well and is arguably UNC’s best shooter. Kerwin Walton has proven that he deserves to start as he’s established himself as a good shooter. Walton gives UNC the threat on the wing with the three-point shot and more recently we have seen him take a few more jumpers inside the arc too.

G — Caleb Love

G — Kerwin Walton

F — Leaky Black

F — Garrison Brooks

F/C — Armando Bacot

In the post, you go with the senior Brooks and the sophomore Bacot. Over the past two games Brooks has played a lot better and appears to have turned the corner getting back to form. Bacot has improved in his sophomore year and is starting to take those steps in developing his game more.

I think Roy will likely go with this lineup more often than not.
