The offseason schedule is set for the UNC Football program including Mack Brown revealing the date for the Spring Game

The UNC Football program just wrapped up an 8-3 regular season in which they earned a ticket to the Orange Bowl to face off against No. 5 Texas A&M. Despite losing that without four of their key starters, the future is bright in Chapel Hill for Mack Brown’s program.

As we flip the page to 2021, there is a lot of hype surrounding this team early on here in January and the excitement will continue to grow as the months go on. The Tar Heels are set to lose four of their best players in Chazz Surratt, Javonte Williams, Dazz Newsome and Dyami Brown but will return 20 of their 22 starters from the Orange Bowl, with the chance to bring Tomon Fox back as well.

This should be a VERY exciting offseason for the Tar Heels and on Monday, we got the first details on the offseason schedule.

Brown revealed in his end-of-season press conference the plans of the Tar Heels offseason and when we will see them next on the football field. The team will open up Spring practice will start on March 23rd and the Spring Football game will take place on April 24.

Now, this all depends on what is going on with COVID-19 as the pandemic forced UNC to cancel their Spring Game last year. I imagine teams will have a plan in place to practice and have limited attendance for the April 24th game. But again, that’s based on what is going on with this pandemic.

This offseason should be a fun one for UNC fans despite it being a long weight. There will be plenty of storylines to follow including potential transfers, recruiting, and much more.
