This team is better than last season

It’s early on in the season so there is no need to panic. UNC suffered an early season loss to Texas (shocker) but this is still a very good team.

There’s really no shame in losing to No. 17 Texas at the final shot especially in a game where you really shouldn’t have been in it that late due to poor shooting and defense. Some may overreact to this loss, we get it, but don’t panic yet.

This team is going to be a lot better than last season and won’t finish below .500. They will make the NCAA Tournament and should be a Top 4 team in the ACC. I’d say right now their season is potential Final Four run if everything goes their way and they start to put it all together and get hot. Their floor is a second-round exit if they can’t figure it out and struggles mount.

I’m confident they will figure it out and when they do get on track, it could be scary for other teams.

My best advice is to just not panic. Sure, there are some things they need to clean up but the lack of exhibition games are showing in this weird season. In a normal year these struggles would be highlighted earlier more than likely, unless you go through a dismal campaign like last season.

Barring any injuries, I really like the prospect of this team especially the more games the freshmen get under their bet…
