What have we learned about the UNC Basketball team here in 2020 through the first four games of the season? We break it down for you

The UNC Basketball program suffered their first loss of the 2020-21 campaign on Wednesday night at the hands of Texas, a team they simply can’t seem to find a way to beat. UNC dropped to 3-1 on the year as the loss came on a shot with just :01 left on the clock as the Longhorns took home the Maui Invitational.

As we continue into the month of December and UNC’s non-conference schedule, there aren’t many games left ahead of conference play. And the next test for the Tar Heels is a tough one as they travel to Iowa City to take on No. 3 Iowa in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday.

Through the first four games and three at the Maui Invite, we have learned a few things about this team early on. They aren’t very experienced, led by their terrific freshman class who they are relying a lot on but they are talented. The lack of no exhibition games may hurt this team here in December but I have the feeling that as we continue to go on, they will get better and better.

But there are some concerns and those need to be fixed.

Let’s take a look at just what exactly we learned about this team through the first week of the season and the Maui Invite.
