We finally have the UNC Basketball schedule for the upcoming 2020-21 season as the ACC released their 20-game slate

It won’t be long until UNC Basketball will be back on our TV’s, and although this will be a very unique season due to COVID-19, it will still be nice to get back to some normal.

On Tuesday, the Atlantic Coast Conference officially announced their 20-game schedule for the upcoming season as UNC was able to finalize their slate. In addition to the 20-game conference schedule, the Tar Heels will play five guaranteed non-conference games with the chance to play two more in the Maui Invitational.

The Tar Heels will begin play in just 15 days when they host College of Charleston on Wednesday, November 25th. From there, they will take on UNLV in the first game of the Maui Invitational on November 30th. UNC then has the chance to play on December 1 and 2nd in the Maui Invitational before returning to non-conference play at Iowa on December 8th. They will host Elon on December 12 and then play Ohio State in Cleveland on December 19th.

Then the fun begins.

UNC opens up conference play at N.C. State on December 22nd and will play four of their first six on the road. Their first home game comes January 2nd when they host Syracuse before they hit the road again.

As for their meetings with Duke, UNC will travel to Durham on February 6th and will close out the season hosting the Blue Devils on March 6th. Take a look at the full schedule below:

The ACC is scheduled to host their annual tournament from March 9-13 in Washington D.C., after having to postpone last year’s due to COVID.

UNC will open their season as the No. 16-ranked team in the nation as they hope to rebound after a disappointing 2019-20 campaign in which they went 14-19.

Next. Should we rule out UNC for this 5-star?. dark
