UNC Football Wide Receiver, Dyami Brown catches the Spotlight of the week honors in Tar Heels upset loss against Virginia.

The stand out junior wide receiver Dyami Brown caught everything for the Tar Heels Saturday night, but Carolina came up short losing 44-41 against the Virginia Cavaliers. Despite the Heels offensive explosion, which stacked up 536 total yards it was the nightmare defense performance many can blame the loss too.

Brown is apart of the explosive trio of wide receivers along with Dazz Newsome, and Beau Corrales that have been security blankets for quarterback Sam Howell. Brown now for the first time this season has had back to back games with at least 100 receiving yards and is his 2nd multi-touchdown game.

Brown was responsible for 240 receiving yards out of the 443 passing yards Carolina had shredded the defense left and right. Brown caught 11 passes and found his way into the end zone for 3 scores while the heels continued to try and fight back. This performance was browns best game this season as he continues to dominate secondaries.

As Brown continues to deliver the heels will continue to call on him to make big plays with a spectacular catch or two. Brown on the season so far has 35 catches, 641 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns in just 6 games.
