(1) D’Marco Dunn, shooting guard

This is the recruit I feel the best about.

Four-star shooting guard D’Marco Dunn is one of the more underrated scorers in this 2021 class and his recruitment could be coming to an end sooner than later. After moving to the Tar Heel state from Arizona, Dunn’s recruitment started to heat up after landing offers from North Carolina and Arizona.

He recently cut his list down to seven schools including UNC, Arizona, Texas, Clemson, Vanderbilt, Texas, Georgia and Louisville, a strong list with some big programs on it. But many believe that this could be a two team race.

The Tar Heels and the Wildcats appear to be the favorites in this thing and we could be heading for another classic recruiting battle between the two programs. They have battled for Zeke Nnaji, Josh Green and Kerwin Walton over the years and Dunn might just be the latest recruit to join that list.

While Dunn hasn’t been able to showcase his skills over the Summer, he’s still a recruit on the rise and I feel really good about the Tar Heels’ chances in this recruitment. Hopefully we hear some good news soon…
