By Zack Pearson
The UNC Football uniform combo has been released for their Week 1 game against Syracuse on Saturday. See what they will be wearing.
We are about to embark on what will be a college football season that we have never seen before due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the UNC Football program, the expectations are very high coming off a season in which they showed improvement and won their first bowl game since 2013.
With the majority of their starters back on both sides of the ball, the Tar Heels are set to contend for one of the two spots in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship Game. But before we get too far ahead of ourselves the first test comes on Saturday.
Syracuse comes to town on Saturday to open up the 2020 college football season for the Tar Heels and we are ready for it. UNC enters as a 22-point favorite against a ‘Cuse but they can’t take the Orange lightly.
As we countdown the days until kickoff, UNC has officially revealed their first uniform combo for the season.
The Tar Heels will rock the blue helmet, blue jersey, and white pants combo for their first game as they revealed on Twitter:
With this being the first uniform combo of the year, it will kickoff our tracker for every game this season.
The Tar Heels wore this jersey combo five times last season including the first two weeks which were wins over South Carolina and Miami.
