UNC Basketball recruiting target and four-star guard D’Marco Dunn has provided a big update to his recruitment on Friday, trimming his list
There are now seven schools left standing in the recruitment for four-star shooting guard and UNC Basketball target D’Marco Dunn.
With a total of 19 offers in his recruitment, Dunn has seen the interest level climb as the months have gone on and eventually landed some offers from big programs like North Carolina, Arizona, Texas and more. But now he’s ready to provide a key update to his recruitment.
On Friday, Dunn officially trimmed his list of 19 offers down to just seven finalists as he’s ready to proceed with those schools. Arizona, UNC, Texas, Clemson, Vanderbilt, Georgia and Louisville all made the cut for Dunn, a solid list for a player whose stock just started to rise.
Dunn is an Arizona native that moved to North Carolina a few years back and started to draw interest from the Tar Heels. The program then offered him this Spring and became a serious contender in his recruitment, as did his hometown school of Arizona.
Many thought that the battle would come down to the Tar Heels and the Wildcats but now a few other programs have emerged as potential contenders as well.
Dunn is ranked No. 69 overall, No. 15 shooting guard and the No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina in the 2021 class per 247 Sports.
