The North Carolina Tar Heels are set to begin their high expectation 2020 season September 12th against Syracuse at home, but  as of now there is still some uncertainty about the season actually starting. Before we look towards the future lets check out the past that got Carolina respected in the first place.

There is no secret that UNC football has been an up and down program, however, there have been many times Carolina football kept fans heels raised and vocals on level 100 cheering that good ole UNC fight song. Through the heartbreaks to the high fives all the way to the arms over stranger’s shoulders singing in melody there is without a doubt been some amazing teams along the way.

As Carolina football is back on the rise and excitement builds behind the great head coach Mack Brown it’s hard to forget the amazing memories the Heels have had the last 40 years. There have been numerous memories, players, and moments that have defined Carolina as the great football program it once was and now becoming again.
