5. Florida State University (Road)

Next on the list is Florida State, a program that sits right in the middle for difficulty level, led by head coach Mike Norvell.

Norvell takes over after an impressive record with Memphis of 38-15 during his tenure giving him the highest win percentage of .717 in Memphis school history. He will look to bring that winning pedigree to Florida State University as he tries to establish his dominance in the ACC.

Florida State comes into the 2020 season with the 4th ranked ACC recruiting class led by 4-star defensive back recruit Demorie Tate. Florida State ended up with a  6-7 record while going 4-4 in conference play with their biggest win coming against Louisville 35-24.

Despite not playing the Heels last season, this is a matchup fans will enjoy as both teams bring in great recruits looking to find their way to become true contenders. Florida State will be without their top running back Cam Akers, who rushed for 1144 yards and 18 touchdowns, after being drafted to the Rams.

The key to victory for the Heels will be very simple: Stop James Blackman. This won’t be an easy task as the 6 ft 5 quarterback has constantly improved and looks to build on the season he had last year where he threw for 2339 yards, 17 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, with a quarterback rating of 142.
