UNC Football: Tar Heels sitting at 100 percent crystal ball prediction
By Zack Pearson
The UNC Football team is sitting in good shape in regards to this five-star defensive back that is set to make his decision on Tuesday
The North Carolina Tar Heels’ football program will soon find out their fate for five-star defensive back Tony Grimes as the 2021 recruit is set to make his decision on Tuesday.
Grimes will end his recruitment here as the month of June comes to a close and it will be a big day for one college program. The defensive back is picking between North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio State and Texas A&M, some big schools that have heavily pursued the recruit.
But as we go into Tuesday’s decision, there is one school that is trending for Grimes and it’s good news.
According to the 247 Sports Crystal Ball predictor, the Tar Heels have locked in 100% of the predictions for Grimes. 11 analysts have made their predictions or at least have adjusted their picks over the past few months and all signs point to the Tar Heels.
The two notable predictions come from national recruiting analysts Steve Wiltfong and Brian Dohn from 247 Sports. Both made their predictions as well as confidence level with Dohn at an 8 and Wiltfong at a 7. A good sign.
Although the Crystal Ball predictor doesn’t guarantee anything, it’s a great sign moving forward for the Tar Heels. They appear to be in the driver’s seat come Tuesday’s decision and we would be shocked if they weren’t the pick for Grimes.
