A top UNC Basketball recruiting target is on the move for his final two seasons of high school basketball, announcing a transfer to Florida

With the 2020 recruiting cycle in the books for the North Carolina Tar Heels’ basketball program, the focus has shifted to future classes. Roy Williams and his staff have turned in a Top 3 class in 2020 and are hoping to build on that for 2021 and 2022.

The team has seven scholarship offers out in 2021 but just one for the 2022 class. That lone scholarship in 2022 belongs to in-state point guard Jaden Bradley out of Concord, North Carolina.

The five-star guard has been a target for UNC for a while now and the Tar Heels are hoping he’s the next great point guard to play at the University. But while his recruitment has been quiet of late, Bradley made an announcement for the future of his high school career.

Over the weekend Bradley announced that he will transfer out of Cannon School in Concord and will instead play his final two seasons down in Florida at IMG Academy:

A few top recruits have made similar moves over the years including UNC center Armando Bacot who transferred to IMG before his senior season.

At 6-foot-2 and 160-pounds, Bradley is one of the best players in the 2022 recruiting cycle ranking No. 7 overall, No. 2 at his position and currently No. 1 in the state of North Carolina per 247 Sports. He earned his offer from UNC back in March as the Tar Heels continue to show significant interest.

Bradley has a total of 13 offers in his recruitment with UNC, Kansas, Michigan, Florida State, Tennessee, and Florida among those showing interest.

The one recruit UNC must land in 2021. dark. Next
