UNC Football: Tar Heels offer 4-star 2022 wide receiver
By Zack Pearson
The UNC Football program adds another target to their 2022 recruiting board as they extended an offer on Saturday to a prospect
The recruiting dead period is in effect until at least the end of April but the North Carolina Tar Heels’ football program has been able to make some moves. UNC landed two recruits for their 2020 recruiting class last week and now this weekend they have a new target.
Mack Brown and his coaching staff have officially extended out an offer to four-star wide receiver Tychaun Chapman on Saturday.
The receiver made it official with this tweet on Saturday afternoon:

The Virginia Beach, Virginia native is ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 97 overall prospect in 247 Sports’ rankings. He’s the No. 15 wide receiver and No. 4 player in the state of Virginia, an area Brown and his staff have started to target since he returned.
At 5-foot-9, 165-pounds, Chapman has elite athleticism and is an ideal fit for a slot receiver with his frame. With UNC looking to retool their offense for the future, Chapman would be a ideal target for the Tar Heels style of offense with the Air Raid system.
Chapman currently has a total of 10 offers in his recruitment including from Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina among others. It’s still early in his recruitment so it’s tough to tell where he might be leaning towards but he’s certainly a recruit to keep an eye on.
