A big in-state UNC Football target is set to announce his decision on Monday, ending his recruitment. But where do the Tar Heels stand?

Just over a week ago the North Carolina Tar Heels’ football program landed some big commitments in their 2021 recruiting class. The Tar Heels landed three commitments in a span of three days including flipping four-star quarterback Drake Maye from Alabama.

While recruiting has been quiet with the COVID-19 virus, there has been some news going around with college programs.

For the Tar Heels, they have put together an impressive start to the 2021 recruiting class with nine commitments including eight from the state of North Carolina. Mack Brown and his staff have the No. 4 overall class as it stands now and they have the chance to add to it. That chance could come Monday.

The rumor is that four-star running back Evan Pryor is set to announce his decision sometime on Monday. The Cornelius, North Carolina native is reportedly set to announce between North Carolina, Ohio State, and Georgia.

The good news is that Pryor’s recruitment is coming to an end and that the Tar Heels will know their fate very soon. The bad news? Ohio State is the team that is trending for Pryor.

The Buckeyes have the lead in the 247 Sports Crystal Ball prediction with 88% of the 8 picks, while UNC has 12%. The Tar Heels were reportedly in good shape for Pryor and there was a rumor that they were the team to beat and a commitment was coming soon. But as of now, it may not look good.

Will Pryor shock everyone and pick the Tar Heels. Looks like we will find out very soon.
