What are the odds that the UNC Basketball program pulls off a miracle and wins the 2020 ACC Tournament? Here’s your best bet.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are looking to do the unthinkable in Greensboro by winning five games in five days to punch a ticket to the NCAA Tournament.

It’s a tough task and they are long shots to win it as the No. 14 seed but it’s the only option for UNC if they want to play in the 2020 NCAA Tournament. After all, stranger things have happened before, right?

Play for the 2020 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament will open up on Tuesday afternoon when No. 12 Wake Forest takes on No. 13 Pitt and then is followed up with No. 14 North Carolina playing No. 11 Virginia Tech. There will then be four games on Wednesday, four on Thursday, two on Friday and the championship on Saturday.

Before play begins in Greensboro, oddsmakers have released the latest odds to win the 2020 ACC Tournament with a few teams given solid odds at the top. Per the Action Network, the Florida State Seminoles are 2/1 or +200 to win the tournament followed by Duke who is 2.5/1 or +250 to win it all. Louisville checks in right behind them at 3/1 and Virginia is +750.

But following them are an interesting choice.

The Tar Heels are 23/1 to win the ACC Tournament, the fifth-best odds among all teams in the conference. That number is a little different on other sites as I’ve seen it at 40/1 and even 60/1 which might not be a terrible bet to take.

UNC has been bothered by injuries all season long but is finally getting healthy and has played better over the past couple of weeks. Even so, we have to remember that they are facing the tough task of winning five-straight including having to go up potentially against Virginia, Louisville, and either Duke/Florida State if they make the title game.
