A top UNC Football target in the 2021 recruiting class provides an update to his recruitment by listing his final six teams.

In his first two seasons back as head coach of the University of North Carolina, head coach Mack Brown has already put together two Top 20 recruiting classes and is off to a great start in the 2021 class.

As we are just a week or so after the 2020 National Signing Day, the Tar Heels currently have five commits in the 2021 class including four four-star recruits. The latest was wide receiver Gavin Blackwell who made his announcement on Monday afternoon.

But now as we get set for the weekend, the Tar Heels received some good news in their race to land another four-star recruit.

North Carolina native Evan Pryor took to Twitter to provide an update for his recruitment and release his Top 6. Among those Top 6 are the Tar Heels:

As you can see above, the Tar Heels have some tough competition if they want to land their sixth recruit in the 2021 class, all of which would be in-state recruits. Also making his Top 6 are Georgia, Penn State, USC, Ohio State and Oklahoma.

Pryor is ranked as the No. 84 overall recruit in the 2021 recruiting class and the No. 4 player in the state of North Carolina per 247 Sports.

Brown and his staff have made a point to get the best talent in the state of North Carolina and so far through the recruiting classes he’s had, that’s been the case. Landing a player like Pryor would be huge for UNC’s offense especially with Michael Carter entering his senior year and Javonte Williams set to be a senior in 2021.
