UNC Basketball recruiting target Jaden Bradley breaks down his recent visit to the Tar Heels and his plans for visiting other schools

There haven’t been many bright spots for the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program so far this season and this four-game losing streak is no different.

UNC did have a chance to make a statement win over their rival Duke on Saturday but blew a double-digit lead and fell in overtime. For the Tar Heels, it’s time to start looking forward to next season and recruiting for future classes to help get things on track.

While they did lose on Saturday night to Duke, the Tar Heels hosted a pair of visitors in the Dean Dome as they got to experience a rivalry game as well as tour the campus. One of those recruits was 2022 five-star point guard Jaden Bradley who was visiting the program on Saturday.

Bradley is ranked as The No. 8 overall player in the 2022 class and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina by 247 Sports.

It’s still early in the recruiting cycle for the 2022 class but getting Bradley on campus for a visit is good news. Following that visit, Bradley wrote in a blog on Sports Illustrated about his visit and how it went.

Here is a snippet of what he wrote on the game and the experience he had:

"I’m just coming off of a visit to North Carolina; I went there for the game against Duke and man! That was a crazy game! The atmosphere was even better than I expected it to be.After the game I did get a chance to meet with Coach (Roy) Williams. I thought it would be awkward because of the loss, but he was OK. He talked about the game a little bit; he just wants the team to get healthy. He told me that he loved my game and saw me at USA Basketball. He said he wants to get out and watch me more. It was great getting a chance to meet him and talk with him."

Bradley doesn’t reveal too much and we don’t expect him to at this stage of his recruitment anyways, so it’s hard to really digest all of that. The part where he talks about Roy Williams is good however, as he got the chance to talk and meet with him following the game.

The recruit also stated that he has visited Auburn and has plans to take some unofficial visits to Louisville, Duke and Florida State.
