The Tar Heels will win two more championships

History repeats itself; it’s as simple as that. Roy Williams and the Tar Heels have won three NCAA national championships over the last 15 years, and with what’s next for the Tar Heels, more titles are likely to come

North Carolina has one of the nation’s best recruiting classes for 2020, so the first championship may be knocked out next year. With just Cole Anthony departing for the NBA Draft this year, the team next year will be exceptional. Garrison Brooks will be a senior, and he’ll be ready to lead the young group that Williams’ has brought in.

The North Carolina basketball program accepts nothing less than being in contention for the national championship. The brand that the Tar Heels have built has been based around consistent success, so do not expect that to change anytime soon.

Whether Roy Williams is at the helm or not, UNC will continue to compete on a national stage for years to come.
