ESPN’s College Gameday will visit Chapel Hill, North Carolina when Duke takes on the UNC basketball program in the first of two meetings this season.

ESPN’s flagship college basketball show, College Gameday, will be in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on Saturday, February 8 when the Tar Heels welcome in the Duke Blue Devils.

This marks the eighth time that the Tar Heels have hosted College GameDay, and their 20th appearance on the traveling show. It’s also the 12th time that Duke and North Carolina have been the primary focus of the show, more than any other matchup in college basketball.

The hour-long program will begin at 11:00 a.m. from the Dean Smith Center prior to Saturday’s games. The crew of Jay Bilas, Rece Davis, Seth Greenberg and first-year analyst LaPhonso Ellis will all be in Chapel Hill for the nationally televised event. The game begins at 5 p.m., and will be commentated by Bilas, Dan Shulman and Holly Rowe.

College Gameday began in 2005 and is a spin-off of the popular college football version of the show. It airs on Saturday mornings during the conference play portion of the season, featuring one of the top games that day.

For now, though, North Carolina prepares for a matchup with Boston College on Saturday evening at the Smith Center. The Tar Heels, 10-10 overall and 3-6 in ACC play, will look to take back a winning record for the first time since early January.
