Improved ball movement

The current North Carolina team was initially led by Cole Anthony, who’s an incredible talent, but not the most efficient option when it comes to moving the ball and getting everybody involved. When he went down with injury, the team definitely didn’t improve, but the ball movement did.

Jeremiah Francis stepped into Anthony’s role as the conductor of the offense, and he did a great job moving the basketball. But there were no playmakers or scorers to help him out. Now, with the weapons that UNC is bringing into the program, Francis — and Caleb Love — will have endless weapons.

Between having the returning upperclassmen, and the batch of talented freshmen coming in, this team should have no issue moving the basketball and trusting each other. Expect the ball movement of next year’s Tar Heel team to be extremely improved. They will have so many options to lead the team in scoring, and it’ll be a different player every night stepping up for UNC.
