UNC Basketball commit Caleb Love put on a show over the weekend helping lead his team to a big comeback win over East Saint Louis

Caleb Love is one of three five-star recruits in North Carolina’s 2020 class that is ranked No. 3 overall in the recruiting rankings. Love was the third player to commit to UNC joining Day’Ron Sharpe, Walker Kessler and then shortly after, Donovan “Puff” Johnson and R.J. Davis.

The point guard is currently ranked No. 21 overall as he continues his senior season at Christian Brothers College and so far it’s been a pretty memorable one.

Over the weekend, Love had one of the best games of his high school season dropping 42 points over East Saint Louis and helping lead Christian Brothers to a big comeback and a 68-62 win.

Check out some highlights from Love here:

It was just the latest example of Love showing off his incredible scoring ability. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound Love might be one of the more underrated scorers in this 2020 class as he can score from almost anywhere on the floor.

With Love, Christian Brothers College is 11-6 overall and 3-1 in District play as they look to capture a state title this season. They have also had some good non-conference opponents along the way including Morgan Park and Whitney Young, both out of Chicago.

If Love keeps this play up, we could see him shoot up the recruiting rankings some more just in time for his important arrival in Chapel Hill.
