Two former UNC Basketball players will team up again on the court but this time overseas as they continue their professional careers

A pair of former North Carolina teammates are once again going to be sharing the basketball court as teammates. But it will be in a different country.

Former Tar Heels’ forward James Michael McAdoo has found a new home in the game of basketball, signing a contract to play for Košarkaški klub Partizan in Serbia. The new deal became official just a few days ago as McAdoo will return to the court and now he will be reunited with guard Marcus Paige.

Paige has been a member of Partizan since 2018, signing a two-year deal to join the ball club and just earlier this year he helped them win the Adriatic League Title.

The 27-year-old McAdoo will enter his second stint in the 7DAYS EuroCup, this time with Partizan  after spending last competition with FIAT Turin. McAdoo averaged 11.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in seven games with FIAT Turin last year and the hope for Partizan is that he can put together some consistent play.

McAdoo and Paige were teammates for two seasons at North Carolina from 2012-14 before the forward left for the NBA as a junior. He won two titles with the Golden State Warriors before playing with Philadelphia, the G-League and overseas. He’s also played for Beşiktaş Sompo in Japan and Auxilium Torino in Italy.
