Brice Johnson, PF

The South Carolina native committed to North Carolina as a four-star recruit in the 2012 class that also featured Marcus Paige. By the time Johnson left UNC after his four years, he was playing at a five-star level.

The 6-foot-9, 210-pound Johnson finished his career averaging 11.6 points, 7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in his four-year stint. After averaging 5.6 points in his freshman year, Johnson increased that total in each year and concluded his UNC career averaging 17.0 points and 11.4 rebounds in his senior season.

That included a monster 39 points and 23 rebounds game in 37 minutes on the road vs. Florida State in his senior year.

Johnson gets the starting spot on our all-decade team due to his offensive ability and stingy defense. His size is a huge factor as well as he’s able to match up in the post with power forwards and centers.

The power forward’s game was really polished by the time he got to his senior year as he was a force in the paint but also could hit a mid-range jumper

Johnson finished his four-year career as a two-time All-ACC Team member and two-time All-ACC Tournament team. He also was named to the NCAA All-Tourney and All-Region team.
